What is a charter and why do we have one?

The Customer Charter is our promise to you, as a user of our services. It sets out what standards and behaviours you should expect from us, and those who deliver services on our behalf. It explains the values we strive for and how we will listen and put things right if, on occasion, we need to do better.

When you are receiving support from the Edinburgh Guarantee, we aim to give you the best support possible. You will be treated with dignity and respect at all times and receive support that is individual to your needs and goals.

The Edinburgh Guarantee can support any resident of, or business within the city of Edinburgh, regardless of your situation or circumstances. We want our services to be accessible to all, giving you the right support at the right time.

If at any time you would like to give us feedback or are dissatisfied with the support, you have received you will find more information on how to do this within the Charter.

All employability providers who deliver support to you on our behalf are also required to provide you with the best possible support and adhere to our values. We ask that they commit to a service delivery Customer Charter as part of their contract, which outlines the best practice they should follow. If you would like to view a copy of this, please ask your employability provider to show you the Edinburgh Guarantee Customer Charter.
