Making work work for you
We are committed to making Edinburgh a Fair Work city. To do this we will
- help you to maximise your income by conducting Better off in Work calculations and helping you to enter employment that offers Fair Work, including offering the real Living Wage as a minimum
- work with employers to make sure you have access to jobs, opportunities and the skills they are looking for - we will provide you with support to prepare for work, get the best start possible in your new job and continue to thrive in the role if you want it
- work with employers to support them to embed Fair Work practices throughout their business
- help you to understand what Fair Work is, how to recognise an employer who provides this, and how to raise concerns if you think you don’t currently have this.
