Parental Employability Support (PES)
Our Parental Employability Support (PES) team offer free, friendly, flexible support.
Support is tailored to your needs and is focused on helping you move towards work or to progress in work to increase your income. Taking part is voluntary and will move at your pace.
Our support includes, but is not limited to
- gaining new skills and confidence
- getting the most from your income and benefits
- help with job applications, CVs and interviews
- understanding your childcare options
- access to funding to help you move towards work
- supporting you to access other services that can help you.
We support parents living in Edinburgh where any of the following apply
- lone parent
- parent or child with a disability
- parent of three or more children
- parent from a minority ethnic background
- parent with a youngest child under one year
- parent under 25 years of age
