Our Parental Employability Support team hosted a Start of Summer Family Day on 10 June 2026 at the Valley Park Community Centre.
Hosted by our Parental Employability Support (PES) team, the Start of Summer Family Day was a great success, with over 100 people joining them on the day.
This event allowed parents/carers to receive access to employability support and advice, as well as enjoy a day full of fun, games and crafts with their kids! The team hosted activities such as face painting, cooking workshops, and even a meet and greet with live animals!
One parent shared their experience: "It is so great having opportunities like this in the local area for the kids but also for us parents to access support and find out what is out there! We have had a great day, getting our face painted and meeting some of the animals"
