Moving Forward for parents
Moving Forward is a progression service for young people, with several providers around the city covering different areas. These providers also support the families of the young person with wellbeing and employability support. Moving Forward provides opportunities for work experience and volunteering through one-to-one support centered around the young person's goals and interests, but also with a focus on the whole family.
There are seven hubs across the city which support eligible young people. These are split into geographical locations, based on schools in each area, and are called clusters.
- Cluster 1 and 3: Access to Industry - City Centre and West
- Cluster 2: Barnardo's Works - North West
- Cluster 4: Triage - South West
- Cluster 5: Wheatley Foundation - South
- Cluster 6: Cyrenians - East
- Cluster 7: Citadel Youth - North East
