The City of Edinburgh Council and Edinburgh Guarantee hosted an Employability Event on 08 September 2026, at the Assembly Rooms, Edinburgh.
To celebrate Employability Day, the Edinburgh Guarantee team and The City of Edinburgh Council hosted an Employability Event on 08 September 2026, at the Assembly Rooms in Edinburgh.
With over 30 employer and providers stands, and around 120 attendees receiving various types of employability support and advice, it was a great success!
Attendees had the opportunity to find out more about:
- our offer to you: find out how we can support you with your career goals
- employer networking: talk face-to-face with employers and learn about open vacancies
- application support: receive advice and support to complete applications for live vacancies
- mock interviews: practice 1-2-1 interview techniques with our team and get direct feedback
- support services access: meet local providers who can offer a wide range of support
- guest speakers: hear from employers, partners and clients who have worked with Edinburgh Guarantee
