The City of Edinburgh Council hosted a Recruitment Event on 04 August 2026 at the Council office building at Waverley Court, Edinburgh.
Hosted by The City of Edinburgh Council, the Recruitment Fair on 04 August 2026 was a great success with around 160 attendees, and over 50 people supported on the day with online job applications.
Visitors discovered a range of opportunities and valuable assistance on the following:
- guidance and advice
- application support
- interview preparation
- full-time and part-time roles
There were a variety of positions available including:
- park rangers
- waste and cleansing driver/crew leaders
- waste and recycling collection operatives
- skilled roadworkers
- cleansing operative driver/crewe leaders
- cleansing operatives
The available jobs are funded by Edinburgh Visitor Levy to make sure the city’s streets, open spaces and green spaces are kept to the highest standards while managing the impacts of visitors.
