We attended the Family Friendly Summer Advice Drop-in on 31 July at Intercultural Youth Scotland.
Hosted by SCORE Scotland, this event was a fantastic opportunity for us to chat to those looking for free advice and support on a variety of topics such as:
- Income Maximisation
- Immigration status
- Employment rights
- Housing rights
- Energy bills
- Debt
- Wellbeing
Adults had the opportunity to chat to various support organisations including our Edinburgh Guarantee team and Parental Employability Support team, whilst children could enjoy a range of fun activities. Children had the choice between arts and crafts, music and games, and creche facilities as well as free snacks, fruit and juice.
