Brief summary
IWORK4ME provided FREE, ongoing business meeting for autistic adults in Scotland who are self-employed or thinking about becoming self-employed.
What does the support look like?
We understand autism. We understand self-employment. And we work with you at a pace that feels manageable. We support autistic people to explore and test business ideas, build confidence and skills, manage pace and planning, and grow self-employment over time. Our service is free, autism informed, open ended and delivered online anywhere in Scotland.
You can access our service if you: are autistic (formal diagnosis required); live in Scotland; are exploring self-employment or are self-employed.
What will I get?
Once you get in touch you will meet your coach/coaches online, sessions take place online via
Zoom typically every six to 8 weeks.
Our mentoring is one to one, structured but flexible, practical and encouraging. You will receive our support as long as you need it (up to business launch and beyond). We revisit goals regularly and adapt support as your needs change.
With the right support, self employment can help autistic people: increase financial independence; develop new life and business skills; reduce stress and burnout; build confidence and self-worth; create a working life that fits who they are (and what they are passionate about).
When
Sessions every 6-8 weeks for as long as you need the support.
Where
Online via Zoom.
What can I do next?
You can continue to access our support once your micro-enterprise has launched.
