Brief summary
We provide 1:1 support to help overcome early job barriers. It builds soft skills and confidence. It also works on wellbeing and English skills if needed. Additionally, it expands networks and provides insight into employment through volunteering. This support can further your career or education/training.
What does the support look like?
The programme gives personalised, holistic support to help parents reach their employment goals. PES works with local organisations to provide practical, financial, and emotional support. This help is tailored to meet each family's needs
What will I get?
Parents receive support through various vocational activities. This includes help with job searching, job applications, and higher education applications.

We develop your CV, conduct mock interviews, and improve “soft skills.” We also focus on building confidence and offer work-ready support.

This helps you access work placements, supported volunteering experiences, and mentoring opportunities
When
The project gives weekly employability support. You can also get a mentor for extra help on your path to employment.
Where
Edinburgh
What can I do next?
Our tailored approach begins with a detailed assessment of your situation. Then, we create a personalised action plan. This plan may connect you to other services. It may include accessing technology or financial resources. We focus on employability skills such as writing CVs, applying for jobs, and preparing for interviews. We also provide emotional support to build confidence. After securing employment, we offer ongoing support to ensure long-term success.
