We offer support to parents who have children attending schools in clusters 1 and 3. Access to Industry (AI) support you if you are leaving school with no positive destination. We support families of the young people leaving school to ensure their wellbeing and future pathways are clear.
What does the support look like?
You will get 1:1 support from an assigned caseworker. You will be able to establish a positive, consistent relationship with one worker. We help parents identify their needs, then set achievable goals. We will then help you to build and review actions.
What will I get?
The service provides guidance, practical knowledge and support. We help you access specialist provisions in the following areas:
• Personal Development
• Health & Wellbeing
• Financial Planning
• Welfare Rights & Benefits Advice
• Childcare Information
• Housing Advice
• Education & Training
• Employability
When
The service supports parents for up to 12 months, via regular 1:1 sessions.
Where
We deliver face-to-face in suitable locations within the community. In addition, we offer remote support via phone and online sessions through Zoom, WhatsApp or Microsoft Teams.
What can I do next?
We offer support into other appropriate employability services. Parents can continue their journey towards employment or education. We accept referrals via the schools listed in our eligibility criteria (see below). We also accept referrals from other organisations, as well as self-referrals made by contacting us directly.
