EdinMe is a service for people aged 16-21 disclosing mental health issues. A one-to-one caseworker will support you to improve your mental well being. We will then support you to progress towards sustained employment.
What does the support look like?
EdinMe is a Service for young people aged 16 to 21 years old (25, if care experienced).
Do you disclose mental health issues that are impacting your progression? If you are looking for sustained education or employment, we can help. Through 1:1 appointments, we help to improve the mental health and well being of our clients. We support your progression onto positive outcomes.
EdinMe particularly seeks to support care-experienced young people. Also those experiencing or at risk of homelessness, substance use, and young offenders. We aim to create a safe space, free of judgement, where they can work on their wellbeing and personal goals.
What will I get?
Caseworkers will provide you with intensive tailored support.
We provide help with:
• Confidence building
• Budgeting
• Employability and CVs
• Driving theory tests
• Caseworkers will support you in making your personal goals a reality
When
EdinMe is not time limited. We understand the challenges you may face and work around your changing needs. We accept referrals throughout the year.
Where
EdinMe is delivered through our Community College, at 156 Cowgate in Edinburgh.
The service is also delivered in outreach locations. If you are not yet ready to attend the Community College you can still start your EdinMe journey.
