Moving Forward is a stage 1 employability training provision for young people who are not in education or employment and are looking for help with their next steps. .
What does the support look like?
We provide 1:1 and group work sessions within your community either at home or at libraries and cafes. We also have a base on a Friday at St Margaret's House in Meadowbank. We offer you tailored support to identify your interests and goals to help you into a positive destination. We can also work with you on any hobbies that will help to build your confidence and autonomy.
What will I get?
We provide support into further education, assistance with job applications and CV’s. We can also offer career guidance and volunteering or work experience opportunities. You may be entitled to a weekly payment of £30.00 through EMA, depending on your household income.
When
Referrals can be made throughout the year and there is no programme duration. You are expected to engage on a weekly basis.
