What does the support look like?
Our service provides one-to-one support with CVs, applications, interview preparation, and local labour market information, alongside career advice and guidance on training or volunteering opportunities. We help people explore their options, set achievable goals, and build the confidence and motivation to reach them. Support is flexible, ongoing, and focused on strengths, ensuring each person has the tools and encouragement they need to move forward.
What will I get?
You will receive help to search and filter jobs, sending you the ones that best match your skills and goals.
Direct links to local employers who are recruiting right now.
Advice on funding for training, including CSCS cards, SIA licences, Food Hygiene and First Aid.
Guidance to find the right courses or volunteering opportunities to build experience.
Support with CV writing, applications and interview preparation.
Coaching and encouragement if you’re unsure where to begin or need a confidence boost.
Ongoing support that is always free, flexible and tailored to your needs
When
Usually, weekly 1-1 meetings with an advisor however this is decided together you can use the service as much or as little as you need. Online support is also available.
