Community Help & Advice Initiative (CHAI)
Brief summary
Maximise is a partnership between CHAI and Children 1st. We offer a holistic service providing advice, employability and family support to families. Children must attend one of 5 Early Years Centres in North Edinburgh – Craigmillar, Fort, Granton, Greendykes and Moffat. 
What does the support look like?
The service is person centred and you can select one or all parts of the service according to need.  The Maximise Team are not based at the EYCs but try to have a regular visible presence there.
What will I get?
You will receive 1:1 support according to your needs. You can receive help with confidence building; CV preparation; access to college courses. You can also get access to ESOL;  help with job applications, interview preparation and help with volunteering.
When
Support is available for as long as required.
Where
We can meet you at the above Early Years Centres; a suitable community location; the CHAI office; your home or via telephone/online.
What can I do next?
We provide aftercare if required and you can be re-referred to the service at any time.
