Shelter
If you need help to find or keep your house, Shelter can provide you with information on all aspects of housing law and tenants’ rights. They also ofer an advice line, advocacy and legal representation.

Private Rented Sector team
The Private Rented Sector (PRS) team supports tenants living in the private rental sector. They will support you to keep your home or find a new one.

Early Intervention team
If you feel at risk of homelessness The City of Edinburgh Council's early intervention team can help. They can discuss with you the issues you are facing and provide advice and support to help you keep your home.

Homelessness help and housing options
If you are currently homeless or at risk of homelessness you can go through a homeless assessment from The City of Edinburgh Council. They can provide urgent support if needed and will provide advice about your rights and options.
The Access Place
The Access Place offers a similar service to the homelessness team, focusing on people with additional needs. If you have significant support needs, and are over the age of 16, you can call the team on 0131 529 5015 (select option 2) for further support.
