The Advice Shop provides support to anyone who needs debt advice and welfare rights and advice for anyone who is struggling with a wide range of issues.
CHAI’s Employability & Support Service operates in the south-west of Edinburgh and works with young people and adults who are out of work, helping to address barriers to employability.
They specialise in offering advice around welfare rights, benefits, debt, budgeting, employment, housing, energy, immigration, consumer rights and health. Due to Covid-19, they are currently only offering advice by phone or through their website.
Dundedin Canmore Housing are a service that supports tenants with money, welfare, housing and employment advice.
They provide advice around welfare benefits, housing issues, rent arrears and debt/money advice. They are unable to offer face to face support but can provide guidance by phone or via their website. They can also help with referrals to foodbanks.
One Parent Families Scotland aims to enable single parent families to achieve their potential, to reach a decent standard of living and contribute to Scottish society. They provide advice and practical support on issues including health and wellbeing, benefits, money, work training and education.
