Business Administrator - Modern Apprenticeship

P&M Sinclair is a construction, renovation and home improvement specialist that has built up over four decades of first-rate service to commercial and private clients across the public and private sectors.  Contributing to our current turnover of around £4m, our directly-employed staff of almost 60 play a crucial part in maintaining our reputation for delivering high-quality jobs, on time and within budget.

Work Environment: 

You will be working in a small team in our office in Rosewell. 

What might a day in this job look like?

Duties will include:

  • Filing
  • Document management 
  • Invoice processing 
  • Stationery supplies
  • Electronic records
  • Managing control documents
  • Financial document reconciliation. 

What will I learn?

  • SVQ Level 2/3 in Business and Administration 
  • Work based training (i.e. MS Office / Customer Service)
  • Soft Skills (communication skills, numeracy, teamwork, problem solving using own initiative etc).

What Qualifications / Qualities are required?

National 4/5 or equivalent which should include English and Maths. 

We are looking for someone who is positive, reliable, enthusiastic, keen to learn, outgoing and confident, able to work with a large number of people undertaking a variety of roles within the organisation.
