    Scotland’s Employer Recruitment Incentive (SERI) is an employer recruitment incentive which continues to deliver the Scottish Government’s (SGs) commitment to target support at unemployed young people aged 16-29 with the greatest barriers to employment, to enable them to obtain and remain in sustainable employment (including Modern Apprenticeships). The Incentive has been developed to integrate and link fully with the SG’s existing employability and skills programmes.

    On 16 June 2016 Edinburgh Project SEARCH interns celebrated successfully graduating from the programme. The event was held at Surgeons' Hall King Khalid Building and was attended by 150 people who had been involved in the programme over the course of the year. The interns were presented with certificates of achievement from Annette Bruton, Edinburgh College Principal; Alan Boyter, Director of Human Resources and Organisational Development, NHS Lothian and Andrew Kerr, Chief Executive of the City of Edinburgh Council.
